What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include browser local storage and other technologies that store or access information on your device. This Cookie Policy explains how Stanisław Kiełbowicz uses cookies and similar technologies on PeopleSay (https://peoplesay.online).
How PeopleSay currently uses cookies and similar technologies
PeopleSay does not currently use traditional cookies for its core functionality. The site uses browser local storage for several functions:
- a pseudonymous identifier used to associate your answers and likes with the same browser;
- your daily streak and the date of your last answer;
- your selected light or dark display theme; and
- the Supabase anonymous authentication session used to keep the site functioning.
These items are stored in your browser rather than as traditional HTTP cookies. Supabase's JavaScript client normally persists browser sessions in local storage.
Analytics
PeopleSay uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure website usage. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to operate without relying on cookies; Vercel describes its Web Analytics as using a request-based hash rather than cookies.
Advertising
PeopleSay uses Google AdSense for advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies and may process information for advertising, ad measurement, frequency capping, and related purposes.
Where consent is required, PeopleSay obtains the applicable consent before using advertising technologies that require consent. The consent choices and applicable purposes are presented through the consent mechanism used on the site.
Third-party services
PeopleSay uses Supabase for authentication and backend services and Vercel for hosting and Web Analytics. These services may process technical information when your browser connects to them. Their use does not necessarily mean that they set cookies on your device.
Google AdSense is used for advertising and ad measurement. More information about Google's advertising technologies is available at Google's advertising technologies policy.
Your choices
You can manage or delete local storage and cookies through your browser settings. Deleting or blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent parts of PeopleSay from working correctly, including anonymous authentication and saved preferences.
You can review or change the applicable advertising privacy choices through the consent mechanism provided on the site.
Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies or similar technologies changes, including when advertising or consent mechanisms are modified. Questions: herbaindustries@gmail.com.
